The inaugural Beats Lounge is officially open to Delta frequent flyers in Atlanta.
Located in the newly constructed international terminal (F-Terminal) at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Beats Lounge is our first collaboration with Delta. Atlanta is the home-base for Delta Airlines, and Beats has partnered with Delta to deliver a premium music experience to the guests of the Delta Sky Club in the new terminal. Beats has taken over 800 sq.ft. branded space inside the Delta Sky Club - The Beats Lounge. The Beats Lounge will allow guests to relax, recharge, and re–experience their music through Beats Wireless, and Studio Headphones. HP Spectres, HP Touchsmarts and HTC smartphones will provide guest with access to Beats playlists and an interactive Beats audio experience. Guest will also have the opportunity to purchase Beats headphones from the Beats concierge, a dedicated Beats trained host who will be in the Beats Lounge at all times during hours of operation to answer questions, assist guests and manage the space.

Hurry up and wait” is the longtime inside joke for those on set, but it’s not usually the mantra at The FADER FORT where everything moves very, very fast. Except for The-Dream, who gave a performance yesterday that one woman said caused immaculate conception. After his set, he was swifted away to the backstage tent where a large man with his arms crossed stood guard. We had a FADER TV interview scheduled, but Dream took his time, so we stood around and waited. Unfortunately that meant waiting until the beginning of Kendrick Lamar and Black Hippy’s set. Which meant it was really loud, which is never the right time for an interview. Fortunately, video producer Sarah Riazati had a pair of Beats By Dre headphones to make sure everything sounded right. “We have two recorders, with earbuds plugged in to one and the Beats headphones plugged into the other and the difference between in audio quality is huge,” says Riazati. “Especially when recording in loud situations. This is the perfect way to not be distracted by loud audio and booming bass.” The interview went off without a hitch, with The-Dream talking about his grandfather, his love of a good curse word and why he’d taken such a long break from performing. Watch it on FADER TV soon and take note of how good it sounds.
